On Harrison Street between Three and Four
Where the urine soaked homeless are not a problem anymore
Gone are the brown bags of beer from which they sip
And the yellow globs on the sidewalk of their post nasal drip
Gone are cardboard shanty from the side of my house
And their sullen dreads filled with the egg sacks of louse
And what apparition has taken their place?
Ten thousand people with all the same face
And million dollar condos and women with mace
A Luxis and a restaurant for bland generic tastes
I don't know which is better anymore
The Giants who walk past my door
Or the urine soaked Homeless of yor
